Deck the Hood
Annually the ladies of Off-Shoots Garden Club add holiday cheer throughout the Brookwood Forest community during the month of December. In just three years the holiday tree sales have more than doubled from 125 in 2014 to over 350 trees in 2017. Adding Hanukkah candles and bows to our holiday offerings has increased community participation.
Orders are usually placed the first two weeks of November; items are delivered the weekend following thanksgiving and the beginning of December. Mid December we invite participants to our "Reindeer Bar" a party filled with holiday cheer. Parents, children, neighbors come together to kick-off the holiday season with snacks, a reindeer food bar, a Hanukkah craft station, music and more!
